Naturally, there are much better OCR tools. I created and maintain this project for fun and to exercise developing, deploying and operating an end-to-end MLOps system, from training NN-s on my own data to deploying the data-processing pipeline.

My top priorities are:

  1. Minimal Cost
  2. Easy Maintainability
Some of my design decisions would be quite different in the industry.

Please, keep in mind that I am a Backend and DevOps Engineer specializing in Python and Kubernetes, so the HTML/CSS/JS is absolutely minimal.
